OUR ANNUAL GREENHOUSE

Making a huge impact for just one season annual plants can make a great difference to your yard!

From a wide variety of strong and bold flowers to something smaller and delicate we have it all. Including all the fun of growing your own herbs and vegetables right from your own back yard. Just like the infamous tomato plant there are so many tasty annuals that anyone can grow.

We offer a large variety of individual plants for you to create and build any planter, garden bed or hanger you’d like. If you would like done and ready for your home preplanted pots and hanging baskets are also available in our greenhouse.

Sun Loving Annuals

Since we have such a short window for our annuals to thrive outside we mainly attract to blooms or foliage with colour. This helps brighten up our season and gets us excited for the warm weather. Pansies, violas, cosmos, calibrachoa, and so much more are all sun loving annuals that thrive in the bright rays.

Shade Loving Annuals

Although the vast majority of annuals very much love sun there are options for you to liven up those shaded areas in your yard. Having impatients, coleus, sweet potato vine, and many more.

Thrillers, Fillers and Spillers

Thrillers - tall impressive centre piece that is meant to create height to draw in the eye. Some annuals you can use are dracaena, tut grass, millet grass, canna lilies, cordyline, lavatera, banana leaf plant, flax and gaura.

Fillers - bushy and colorful heavy growers that take up and cover empty spots. Options for your planters geraniums, petunias, begonias, heliotrope, osteopermum, marigold, dusty millers and many more.

Spillers - tumbling and trailing plants that hang off of your planter adding another layer or level. Anything that flows or falls like creeping jenny, dichondra, potato vine, nasturtium, lobelia regatta, bidens are all great options. Plus there is always a lot more.

Herbs and Vegetables

Easy to grow herbs and vegetables liven up your garden with lots of flavor. The fun of growing your own herbs and vegetables can be the most satisfying as you can enjoy the taste of everything. Used for cooking, teas, aromatherapy, and herbal remedies are just some ways herbs can be beneficial. Herbs such as basil, dill, cilantro, and mint are just a few to mention.

With grocery prices raising in stores, growing your own vegetables for the season can be a great way to save. Not to mention when you grow your own vegetables right at home you know exactly how your vegetables are being treated. There is so many veggies to take home like carrots, lettuce, onions, and more to grow on your own.
