What makes Green It Up lawn fertilizer different from other lawn fertilizer brands?
Our custom formula 18-28-8 has a higher middle number than most retail brands. The middle number is the nutrients for root growth. The numbers on a fertilizer package indicate the percentage of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) in the fertilizer.
Nitrogen (N): Helps plants grow above ground, creating leafy growth.
Phosphorus (P): Helps plants grow below ground, including root systems, flower blooms, and fruit production.
Potassium (K): Helps plants build strong tissue, which helps them withstand stresses like heat, cold, pests, and diseases.
